"QYMA has a long tradition of providing a friendly and supportive environment for young musicians to perform.  It is this aspect of the joy of performance that gives the competition its special atmosphere - winning a prize is merely a bonus to the many benefits of being involved." Professor Peter Roennfeldt, Queensland Conservatorium and President of ANCA

"The Queensland Youth Music Awards is always a great way to start the year, my students particularly love the opportunity to watch other choirs perform in such a positive atmosphere."
Daniel Crump Mt Alvernia Curriculum Leader: The Arts and QLD President of KMEIA
